1. Introduction

Raudah Ventures ("Raudah," "we," "us," or "our") builds, owns, and operates products under the Raudah brand.

This Privacy Policy applies to raudah.co and to the products and services operated by Raudah Ventures (collectively, the "Services"). It explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Services.

Raudah Ventures acts as the data controller (or equivalent term under applicable law) for personal data processed through raudah.co. A product-specific privacy notice may identify a different controller when a third party or merchant of record is responsible for particular processing.

We process personal data in accordance with applicable law. Where consent is required for a particular activity, we will request it through an appropriate notice or action.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account or contact us through our website, we may collect your name, email address, and account credentials.

2.2 Payment Information

Payments are processed by one or more third-party payment processors and merchants of record selected from time to time. We do not directly collect or store your full credit card numbers or bank account details. We may receive limited transaction details from these providers, such as billing status, country, and the last four digits of your payment method.

2.3 Usage Data

We may automatically collect certain information when you access our Services, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, features used, and access timestamps.

2.4 Communications

When you contact us via email or other channels, we collect the contents of your messages and any information you choose to provide.

2.5 Builder Applications

When you apply to build with Raudah, we may collect your name, age confirmation, location, education or work information, availability, project links, application answers, evaluation materials, communications, and other information you choose to provide. Do not send private credentials, third-party confidential information, or material you do not have permission to share.

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We may use cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve our Services. These include essential cookies required for core functionality (such as authentication and session management) and analytics cookies to help us understand how visitors use our Services.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may limit your ability to use some features of our Services.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain our Services
  • Process transactions and send related information
  • Respond to your inquiries and support requests
  • Review builder applications, conduct standalone evaluations, communicate selection decisions, and prepare engagement documentation where applicable
  • Improve our products, services, and user experience
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and technical issues
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • With trusted third-party service providers who assist in operating our Services (such as hosting, analytics, customer support, and email delivery). These providers are obligated to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.
  • With third-party payment processors and merchants of record who process transactions on our behalf or, in the case of merchants of record, act as the seller of record for tax and regulatory purposes. These parties are bound by their own privacy policies and contractual obligations to us.
  • With professional advisers and service providers supporting Raudah Ventures for operational, administrative, and legal-compliance purposes.
  • When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, in which case you will be notified of any material change to controllership.

6. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. These countries may have different data protection laws. By using our Services, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries where we or our service providers operate.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, provide our Services, and comply with legal obligations. When your data is no longer needed, we will delete or anonymize it.

Builder application and evaluation records are ordinarily retained for up to twelve months after the most recent application activity. We may retain them longer with your permission, when you begin an engagement with Raudah, to resolve a dispute, or where applicable law requires it.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or request deletion of your personal information. You may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing of your data.

Rights and obligations introduced by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its rules apply as the relevant provisions come into force.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at legal@raudah.co. We will respond to your request in accordance with applicable law.

9. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

The Raudah builder program is available only to Indian residents aged 18 or older. We do not accept builder applications or evaluation submissions from minors.

10. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes, we will place a prominent notice on our website. Your continued use of our Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
